[There is an evil demon lurking near the edge of the woods. What dastardly plot is she up to this time? What depraved act of sexuality and/or cannibalism will she be inflicting upon camp (and the world!) today?

Well...

She is petting a baby deer and cooing at it.]

So, what, we go back to lying?

I'm not lying.

Then why do you look like hell, Jennifer?

Why do you?

That would be a valid question if I actually did.

...

Do you really want me to tell you the truth?

I think you have a bigger problem saying it than I do hearing it.

...If I tell you what's been going on, you can't hold me responsible for it, okay? Only for the things that happen after this little conversation.

If I planned on stopping you for what happened before, you'd be dead or locked up already.

Are you forgetting that you're the one who killed me? Whatever. Say you promise.

I don't make promises lightly.

If you don't promise, I can just get up and leave and make sure I never see you again for the rest of my time here. You won't know what I'm doing or who I might be hurting or how safe your brother is the next time he decides to feel me up in the library.

I'm pretty sure your commitment to public safety's gonna be your moral guide here.

I tell that to Dean? And he stops. Bottom line. Threats don't work.

This isn't some high school game.

What? You're gonna tell him that I might have vaguely implied that he is potentially not one hundred percent safe when he sticks his tongue down my throat? I'm pretty sure he knows what the risks are already.

Anyway, I'm not seeing what's so hard about you promising to not kill me as soon as I wrap up my little bedtime story. Excuse me for trying to cover my ass.

Because as far as I'm concerned, there's a reason why you're making me promise.
