Altville, Part Thirty-One

I couldn't get with the program
And I couldn't listen to them
It was like trying to think in reverse
And I don't want to slide into apathy
And I don't want to die in captivity
But these monsters follow me around
Hunting me down, trying to wipe me out

Great installment! Always wanting more, trying to be patient. LOL I like Alex taking the cigerette away from Julian.

It's back! It's back!

Another great action installment and *how* did I forget about the barn attack? Creeepy bug noises in the dark. Jeez.

I like the fact that Kents don't just kill, even in this universe. That's perfectly in canon, still. Julian and Alex still make me ache because they're both skirting around this huge issue of their feelings. The constant danger has to be kicking it all up a notch. *g*

Bee hee. And Lana's in jep. Now how did *that* happen? It's certainly not canon or anything. *g*

And in case you missed the opening song and dance...it's back! It's back! *dances*

Autumn sucked. Julian hated the way the days just got shorter and shorter. He could understand, deep in his bones, the old myths about winter, the way people had believed the world was actually ending. He could feel the urge, every year, to light candles and keep all the lights on. Playing at paganism, like Mom used to say. Trying to drive the winter away.

I like how Julian is affected on a subconscious level by the sun's cycle, even if he doesn't know yet that his strength comes from the sun's rays.
