An article was posted about how JA and JP approach their craft and the story behind the camera.  The second paragraph of the article discusses JA’s directorial choices.  It reads:

I was really interested in that when I read the article, so I'm really glad to see this visual comparison. Thanks so much for posting!

not feel like I'm in a gigantic hair dryer.
Oh, doesn't sound nice at all! I love a nice sunny summer but I don't need heat either.

As for SPN... *sighs*... I recently finished watching the last season but to tell the truth, I wasn't very happy. I can't feel the love anymore (still love the old episodes though). The show changed so much (and perhaps I changed, too)... Now I can't even remember the episode you're referring to. Otherwise, I'm sure, I'd love to read about your thoughts :)

I hope you and your lovely little family (the children grow up fast, don't they?) are well! Take care :)

The summer heat here is intense. However, last summer seemed so much more difficult (but maybe bec. I was pregnant), so I'm not complaining (too much).

I think the last 2 season have struggled to find their footing. Following up a 5-year-long mytharc is no easy feat, esp. being that renewal isn't guaranteed every year so spinning up a new multi-year mytharc immediately would've been difficult. My Show enthusiasm has toned down substantially and RL has become ... full. So I've not been active in the SPN fandom for years. However, I'll be watching SPN until the end just because I adore the characters and need to see them to their end no matter what it might be.

That's exactly why I continue watching as well :)
