"Didn't we just go to sleep?" she complained loudly, sleep slurring her words, and buried her head underneath her pillow. "TURN IT OFF, DOCTOR!"

"Doctor!" he bellowed. "What's going on--"
A sharp ping! noises sounded; Rory had just managed to fumble his way around to his nightstand to try and turn on the lamp. It didn't work.
"Bugger, he's gone and ruined the lights, Amy..." he grumbled.

"That's not what you were supposed to do," he went on, chiding the console. "Don't you listen?"
There was a spark on the console, almost as though the TARDIS was responding to him. She wasn't best pleased.
In front of him, the Doctor tapped his finger against the tanoy microphone, the sound echoing around the TARDIS.
"Yes. Hello? Ooh is that what I sound like? Hellooo" He was getting somewhat off track. "Yes. Sorry. Right. Ponds. The lights have gone out... though you probably noticed that..." he trailed off. "Nothing to worry about. Might just want to get yourself back to the console room though. Wouldn't want to accidentally jettison you."
He clicked off the loudspeaker.
And back in again.
"That was a joke, by the way."
Out again.
And back in again.
"Oh and good morning by the way," he said, a grin evident in his voice.
