yes they are decriminalizing many drugs to a cetain extent down there. It's still "illegal" but if you can prove that you are an addict and are willing to recieve treament apparently no criminal charges will be pressed, also the limits are apparently being raised as to what they can hold you for. the idea is to allow cops to focus on the big fishes. that's what i got from reading an article in comcast news at least.

I thought they were legalizing certain AMOUNTS that you may have in your possession? I don't remember reading anything about them wanting to rehabilitate anybody. The jist of what I read suggested that they had bigger fish to fry with, and needed to free up some jail space for, actual criminals. Are you sure you know what you're talking about?

i would certainly recommend reading the article over my pseudo analysis, which may or may not be accurate. but as far as i know. yes, i do know what im talking about.
