I'm back, and Jason's show was worth every damn penny I spent. He was the most awesome thing ever! A genius who is humble and gracious. The world needs more of that. I'll post the setlist and some pics tomorrow, along with other pics from the trip as well. :D ( Read more... )

All i can tell you is...the guys in Vancouver are very nice there W00t????? I hope so. Honestly, in this shitty dark world, I hope they ARE...

PS: I like a few of Jason's songs. Is he gay? Pardon, but I had to ask because I read somewhere he is...

You know I hope they are. :)

Is he gay? I honestly don't know. I don't think so. He's a soft spoken guy and very polite to fans, and he wrote one song in particular for one of his gay friends (or so he said), but I don't get gay vibe from him, and I'm not saying this because I'm lusting after him. I'm not. He's just kind of my idol in I'm-so-blessed-by-your-music-and-the-way-you-see-the-world kind of way.

Speaking of Jason: I dont think that every gay person must be either dazzlingly attractive (like *youknowwho* :)) or have painted nails and violet hair. There are guys who dont give you the *vibe* at all... so why not? I dont care what Jason is, I have some of his songs and they are very nice...but i've seen his name popping out on some gay sites...

About the J2 question you asked: I watch SPN since...summer 2007, if I recall correctly. But I *want to believe in J2* (LOL) since late summer 2008, i guess. It's when the mass of evidence *pro* that has been supplied by one of my f-listies tipped the scales of *RPS??? who cares?? not me, never did* and also made me raise a brow. :) THEN I met Jasmine...read some of her entries, saw RedBull pics, read about guys' histories, their gfs, watched their clips...and I was a goner. ;) And i started reading RPS. Lord, some fics are SO good.

Yeah, you're right about the vibe. Some guys are just normal as the next straightest guy. He might be or might not be, wouldn't change my feeling for him. I just looovvveeee him, lol. And he's been single for a while now, but I don't follow him closely like I do some people, you know what I mean? Haha. So can't really tell. I'm all for him to hook up with some dudes, just so he breaks some annoying fangirls' hearts. :D

"I want to believe"! That reminds me of that poster Mulder had (in The X-Files). I'm a goner by now as well. I began watching the show when season 3 had just started, but I wasn't really into it until season 4. First it was all about SPN, not J2, until I saw that BuddyTV interview where Jared slips his "little pretty ass" remark. I was hooked then and tried to find some stuff on the boys, and oh man, I'd missed a lot. And then I started writing RPS fics about them, lol. That was fun. Still fun, but I haven't written anything in weeks because of all the distractions -- BI stuff and rumors and whatever else. *sighs*

When I started watching SPN because I drifted away from Mulder/Krycek fandom, I thought the show insults my intelligence, because I wasnt hooked at first on those silly horror plots. But I watched for Dean. Then I was *forced* (LOL again) to read some wincest, it filled a gap for new slash pairing with me...and again, i was a goner.

I write wincest. My stories are not...mainstream though, or so I prefer to think.

LOL, I watch for Dean as well, until this season I start watching for both of them, I mean the brothers, but we're gonna have to agree to disagree, because I'm not into Wincest at all. I can't process it in my brain. I'm not saying that it's wrong or disgusting. I just don't see it. Maybe because I have a sister who's very close to me the way Dean and Sam are close, you know, and I just can't think that way for her, lol. It's that simple. But I long to read really good gen SPN fic, you know, because I'm intrigued by the dynamic between characters and the storyarch about heaven and hell. I'm not really into horror storylines either, unless it deals with one or both of the brothers somehow, and please, with some subtlety. SPN can be so damn obvious, and like you said, it's kind of insulting. But so far, this season didn't make me feel that way often. Maybe just a few eps. :)
