I finally got a call back from the numerous job applications I've put in over the last month. This one was for a data entry position at a hospital. Not the most glamorous job in the world, I know, but at least I have experience doing data entry (albeit it five years ago). Apparently, I misunderestimated myself because the woman that called me back

lmao what a bunch of bullshit! i do not understand how, especially in this economy, someone would think you wouldn't want a job because you're overqualified and it's boring. obviously if you're applying for the job with your resume you know what it is and that you could do better, but there's a reason why you decided to apply anyway. idiots.

Well, the thinking behind it was that she didn't think I would stay there very long and I guess they're looking for someone long-term. She's right that I wouldn't stay there since Beth and I might be moving again in a few months, but that has nothing to do with the job itself.

Damn, that sucks. If I got that over the phone, I'd be just as annoyed. I def understand the want for a job where you don't have to deal people. I hope you find something else soon.
