when i first read this i saw "...art/friend/slaughter/happiness..."

anyway, word. i'm sure you know all this, but i've always found it helpful to hear again. these things take time. things will look up. i promise. you'll start to realize the positives of your current situation without diminishing the past. and you'll know you've made your peace and are ready to move on with life. and don't beat yourself up too much about actions you may now consider mistakes. it's the last thing to worry about right now. anyone who's ever been in love will surely understand.
