Thanks hon! I'm just glad that you don't feel I've gotten inconsistent in my characterization. I read the whole fic through yesterday and you're right, this Jared and the Jared in the first many chapters don't have a lot in common, but I truly believe that this is a natural progression. I'm just happy that I got your 'go' and that you warmed up to the change. So thank you again! :) (and I hope you had a nice New Years Eve!)

No, they don't and that's what had me confused at first. But then YOU are right - the change in Jared's demeanour only brings out more clearly how much the current situation upsets him, how much stress he's under and that he's truly reached his limits.
If he was still the offensive, self-assured person he was before, no one would believe that his injury and his loss of control affects him all that much. But if a usually strong person breaks down like that and relys on others for support and affection in that way all of a sudden, you KNOW it's bad.

Sorry I didn't get that right away. Funny, everybody else did ... You should look for someone else to check your new chapters - obviously my opinion is not reliable. LoL

Yea, they should really spill their hearts out like this, so that they both could understand what they still mean to each other.
I really love what Colin said in end. He finally came over himself and face the truth. It's so sweet and real, said in simple words.
There'still a long way for recovery and fighting with all this public attention. Hope things will be getting better and better for them.

wow. i can't remember how i make it here but i'm glad i did. i love C/J fiction, always looking for new ones even if the fandom is not as famous as before. This fiction is really great, well written and great plot. Everything is so in character and i love the way your characters are growing day after way.

I hope to read more soon. This chapter is one of the best so far and i can't wait to read the sequel.
