So tonight I did something I have never done before: I watched The X Factor of my own volition. Damn you Rhydian and your awesome voice and huge white hair!! This is all the fault of spending my last weekend in Wales, I'll have you know. It must be something in the water.

I have to confess I watched almost an enitre season of X factor a couple of years back - and the Xtra Factor thing they show on ITV2 afterwards. I had an excuse though - i was in a play at the time and was using Simon Cowell as a base for my character.

...it is shockingly addictive though, I have to admit :(

You're worse than I am, then. I've missed all of the series up until last weekend, and then ended up watching it because my nanna's keen on it and... yeah. All downhill from there. I ended up downloading clips of my favourite on ITV.com to see if it was not just a fluke, and it wasn't. =( In my defence, I feel exactly the same about all the contestants this year as I usually do; vapid, boring, mediocre, shagging their siblings, bar one, and the bar one is the only reason I've started watching. Yet I care enough now that I'll know I'll sulk if my favourite doesn't win. Oh the shame.
