I downloaded part of this the other day and then stopped for some reason. I'm just not a good movie-with-subtitles watcher. I have to be doing something else (like playing on the computer) whilst watching a movie and I can't do that with subtitles. So idk.

I have that problem too. I ended up pausing every so often and faffing about on LJ because I have the attention span of a newt. It is good though! Wish I'd seen it at the pictures; I shall have to watch it again.

God I loved that movie (the ending especially) so I'm really really pleased you liked it. I'm reading the book right now and loving that too; I was worried about the translation being awful and stilted like they sometimes are but it's perfectly fine, and I'm really really enjoying it.

My browser is telling me that "movie" isn't a word, what the fuck?

Oh man, SUCH A GOOD MOVIE. It's beautiful, haunting, and further suggests that almost everything Sweden produces is gold.

Ooh, I'm going to have to check this out. I cannot lie that I do enjoy the sexy vampire movies because they're hilarious, but a real vampire story sounds excellent!

I've only ever seen one Swedish film (Ingmar Bergman's Wild Strawberries which is SO GOOD) and I kept giggling at inappropriate moments because Swedish = most hilarious language ever! I look forward to the Swedish vampires!!
