Can you complain to LJ about this? If it wasn't just his community, then he at least owed you the courtesy of negotiation. (Unless you did something psychotically awful like threatened to close the place down and banninated people for no reason or something... but I can't see you doing that.)

I never got an invitation to join a moderator community. I remember the idea of creating one was mentioned and I thought it was a good one, and I planned on creating one when I got a few minutes of breathing room (packing for a move sucks). Then the next thing I know, I'm kicked out and banned. *sigh* Seriously, though, the asshole population of any group makes the most noise, and the asshole population in that group made it an exceedingly unpleasant place to be. I had hoped that with adding mod staff and implementing new rules we could change that, but look what happened when I tried. *sigh*
