I'll soon be embarking (with Rebecca) on the 14-hour drive to Seattle (probably starting on Friday). There's one thing I need before leaving: new music. Sure, I could just listen to the Beatles all the way, but why do that when I can get into something new? Unfortunately, I'm almost completely out of the loop with regard to music these days

Yay for misappropriation of corporate resources! There used to be a way to make Apache auto-tar a directory on access to .tar, but I can't find mention of it any more. Maybe I'll have to put an ftpd on a strange port.

1. The TSA sucks.
2. We didn't get around to looking at tickets until the last couple weeks, and they're not only freakishly expensive ($211 was the cheapest one-way from SFO-SEA), but also scarce (you can't fly out of San Jose on Friday or Saturday, for example).
3. I get to have a car while in the city. If I rented, it'd be like $600.
4. Road trip!
