Then I must be a living breathing miracle of French 19th century medical science. By their reckoning I would have kicked the bucket some eight years ago.

A friend of mine from a more religious background relayed to me once that the local Methodist church preached that masturbation led to moral decrepitude.

Being thoughly morally decrepit I would have to agree.
