MODELS gettin' some book love!!!

 Thanks to the lovely and talented Saundra Mitchell (anywherebeyond ), I found out that MODELS DON'T EAT CHOCOLATE COOKIES is in the running for Best Book, Best Author, and Best Debut of February 2009 on the YA reads forum. OMG! Yay!!!

Cool!! I am loving your spreads of CHICKEN DANCE. We call our daughter "chicken", and she loves to dance, so I can't wait to get my hands on a copy for her!!

Yahoo on MODELS. Ok, I'm going to share something. The library at the bookfair where I helped sell books to kids asked if I thought MODELS had a good message. I'm like, yes. And I proceeded to tell her the premise and why I felt this way. It really pays to read books before you go to a bookfair as some parents were listening to what others had thought the book was about. I ended up getting four six grade girls to buy your book. I really think it has a great message and know tweens can relate with it.
