Title: Her Name Is Alice

Featured Characters: Echp, Sierra, Claire/Whiskey, Adelle, Mellie/November
Premise: I was listening to the Almost Alice soundtrack and this song drew many connections to Dollhouse, leading to this Alice in Wonderland fusion.

The song is so beautifully haunting, and the editing is brilliant. Very nicely done!

Thank you! I listened to it once and just though it was good and then a few lines started bringing up clips...what clinched it though was "...but now off with her head" where my mind screamed "EVIL!ADELLE!"

I really love the end of the video! You are so talented.
Adelle is such a wonderful source of inspiration :)

she is...I need to try to make a vid to "Poor Unfortunate Souls" for her.

I am also catching the Sweeney Todd bug and I want to make a vid to "Not While I'm Around"

This is really amazing!!! I really love the connections in the lines, like "Has locked herself in limbo to see how it truly feels" and the shots of Adele. The ending is really creepy! I never really appreciated how menacing Adele truly is.

(I know this is a bit cheeky, but is there any chance of a download? I like to save videos I love. No problem if you don't want to.)

Thank you! When I first listened to the song I was just thinking of Alice but then I listened again and I started connecting little lines. I think what made it all fall into the place was "And now off with her head..."

I have a download link if you're interested. The file is a .mov file purely for space because the .avi version was giant.

When it finished I put it back to the beginning to watch it again...

I seriously love it, how everything connects together and matches up with the song and creates that atmosphere. The Attic part gave me shivers.

(yeah, I'm a little more coherent today :L)
(also, would you mind vouching for me on that comm? I would love you forever! :P)

Yay I am so glad you liked it. It seems to be getting a positive response. Another LJer linked it in her journal.

No problem, I will send the mods a message.

Thank you!

I spent this entire year engross in the mythology of Alice in Wonderland so this seemed like a good way to culminate it.

I'd never heard that song before, but that's one of the best choices for Dollhouse I've heard. Terrific choice of clips, too -- loved the way you connected it to the Attic.

Thank you for sharing your excellent work.

Thank you that's quite a compliment. The Attic portion had to be my favorite thing about the video. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

I hope you don't mind, but I thought it was so good that I reposted it in my LJ with a link to this thread advising people to comment here in your journal if they liked it.

Here's the post.
