Hmm. Man, it's been a while since I touched this- for a few reasons, at least! Finals didn't take me by storm like they have the past few years, but they'd more or less sucked in all of my brainpower ("wow, I'd better start cracking down on this stuff" as opposed to "AAGH OH GOD I HAVE TO WRITE TWENTY PAGES IN AS MANY HOURS AGH" or some such

... it was ridiculously miraculous. The main trunk missed her by about a foot, none of the shattered ornaments shattered on /her/, and she even had enough sense to cover her face with her hands so that the branches and needles didn't scrape her. XD;

My grandmother's comment about my cousin's lack of injuries was "talk about a REAL Christmas gift."
