Updating from work right now, it's Friday, sunny and wet outside. I've been flying solo all week at work, which means 8-4:30 every day (7-4:30 on Thursday). So I've been managing to keep pretty busy while maintain a balance of slack that can only be described as...reasonable. Victorious Birthday Donuts
Me B-day was Sunday. Another success (marked: 2 in a row, 21 was also a good party, involving cooking, out, and me getting to open a beer bottle.) Ice cream cake was had, though I must say that Dairy Queen's is a lot better. It was still delicious, and I wouldn't have refused more. Mom made these wicked kabobs, and they were frigging awesome. I feel that when you're as narcissistic as I am, you can do yourself a really big favor by being honest--with yourself.
It's those little things that count, like when you see yourself in the mirror, go ahead and say: "Damn, my hair looks good." It probably does. Or thinking "I'm so glad I'm me." Thats completely justified, also ( Read more... ) -
