I was discussing an old indulgence of mine, the notion of thousands of ninja coming down on a city and wiping out all of its inhabitants all in a day or so. I prefer the first of these options, though the second does fit in somehow with the Hong Kong action genre.

For systems, I would recommend the following: Feng Shui, Hong Kong Adventures (or whatever it's called) or of course BESM... come to think of it, I could see it working as a modern-day Exalted game if you wanted the less serious second approach.

I never have tried Exalted. Actually, somewhat ironically, I've never played any of those games.

From what I've heard, Wushu would probably work too, though I don't know much about the particulars of that system.

I've heard it's very accomodating of the flashy over-the-top movements the characters would be prone to using.
