[Retro-Canon: Steerpike] What I'm searching for

Effy is, as always, bored. Tripping with Berger was fun, but now that it's passed, she's antsy again. She can be found in the kitchen, smoking a cigarette (yes, she's smoking inside. no, she doesn't care.). There's an ashtray nearby, but she's dumped all the ashes out and has spilled them on the table, tracing little designs in them with her finger

Steerpike is not the most sexual being - and he's anything but bored, particularly considering his mentor's grueling demands.

He's in fact quite in a hurry, but he'll still sneak a look at the girl (she looks like ... hm... yes, that sort of woman) - as he wanders in to grab a pitcher of water.

She looks over at him, and exhales smoke as he looks at her. She raises an eyebrow.

"You have something on your mouth, my lady," Steerpike informs her. "It mars your otherwise remarkable beauty."

[bornyffe]

She smirks and goes to wipe the lipstick off with her finger--rather sensually, actually.

And so a couple hours later....

Steerpike is waiting in the room, looking at the window. He has his back to the door and doesn't seem very concerned.

She'll walk in, silently, and head towards him. She's looking rather nonchalant as well.

He looks over his shoulder, as if he noticed a fly buzzing in.

"I see. You wanted more, didn't you?" He doesn't seem to care.

[bornyffe]

"You did too," she replies, sounding bored.
