Anita picks up on the third ring after seeing a client out.

"Blake," she says, sitting heavily in her desk chair.

It's been a long day already.

"Donovan Reece here," Donovan says. "Do you have a moment?"

He doesn't want to make Anita angry, if she's in a hurry.

That's a voice she hasn't heard in a while.

"Yeah, I have about half an hour before my next appointment. What can I do for you?"

"I'll come straight to the point," Donovan says. "One of my swanmanes is missing. We're all looking, of course, but I'd be really glad if you could tell me when you hear anything. I know they have slightly adventurous tastes, so I didn't really worry all that much, but she wouldn't just vanish and not turn up when we agreed to meet without leaving some sort of message."
