"It’s the second worst idea I’ve ever had. But you kept me from following up on the worst one …” I loved this line. You'd think he'd think his worst idea ever ended up with him in hell, but no. That was for Sam, so it was a great idea! Oh, Dean.
Sam's controlling his anger, up to a point. Just him thinking about everything that the demons did to him and who was ultimately to blame for that was chilling. Oh, I'm so afraid he's going to blow up and then Lucifer will have him.
Really well done. Dialogue was very crisp and in character. I've totally missed S and D being on the same page, so to speak. Oh well, there's always fandom to fix them :D
I think there's nothing worse than that moment when the heroes get hit with just how much of the crap in their lives was orchestrated. This just catches that aftermath so wonderfully. You may not like this comparison, but it's like in Angel when it becomes clear just how *much* of everything was a W&H scheme.
Also though, I like the way you've got that brotherly bond still there. Still ticking away in the background. All those things are so routine for them, they can't stop even when things are in pieces.
I did watch Angel, though it was a long time ago. But that whole idea of finding out you are just a cog in a master plan--well, that's kinda been the whole season for the boys, hasn't it.
Oh I definitly like this^^ This made me giggle: Oh. Yeah. The whole ‘being honest’ thing they’re trying. They are really working so hard on it and doing so very good^^ And you caught the boys like in the show. Very weel done!
Yeah, actually I'm really worried. It kind of feels like the calm before a storm (or a apokalypse)... and they never let us go into the summer hiatus with a good feeling, right?
That episode was SO badly structured that it just begs for fic. (It played like a first draft that nobody bothered to fix. One of the worst of the season, IMO, and that's saying something.)
So...thanks for filling in this little bit. This one line struck me: "But his plans, his orders, had come from further down, hadn't they." Nice!

I'm worried that us fanfic writers may have a big job ahead of us during the summer break...
