An Old New SPN Fic

I stumbled across a folder on my hard drive labeled 'Fic Started' and there was this complete story that I'd never posted! It was written during the hiatus between seasons 7 & 8, and is actually AU, but I thought it might still be of some interest. Obviously I'd seen the spoiler about Sam and Amelia, but that was all.

Aww. Nice one. I would have been fine with backstory only, never met Amelia. Truly disliked her. Jody for the win. Also I noticed the Show spelling of Cass rather the fan’s usually Cas. Still always looks like a mistake to me that way. :)

Like I said, I must have heard enough about the upcoming season to know Sam would have met a girl...but of course I assumed, like everyone else, that he still would have looked for Dean.

And I must have used 'Cass' because that would have been around the time fandom found out that's how it was being spelled in the scripts.

But I'm trying to kickstart my muse, and figured this was a start...

I hadn't really thought about how Dean would go about finding Sam after he got out of purgatory - this was such a good insight into how it could (maybe should!) have gone.

Yay for kickstarting muses - I really need something to kickstart mine!
