RL: So one of the independents has backed Julia Gillard. ^_^ One down, three to go! She just needs two more, I think, to finally claim victory and be confirmed as PM! I just lol’d because Abbott’s people were so childish and attacked that independent over choosing her side, I mean, wow, what sore losers! *shakes head*
I’ll be happy if Gillard wins

Yeah, same here. But at least she'll get a chance to show what she can do, y'know? I would've felt really embarrassed for her if she got cut down before she got a chance to either sink or swim. [Krudd had already alienated me, so I was happy for him to go]
WHAT? IT'S FREE? WHAT IS THIS?
Amazing!
IKR? I want to knock out some girl and shove her in a cupboard next year so I can take her place and go get pampered all over again. *sighs wistfully*
Okay, someone of my size would definitely not be invited to this! lol
Dunno what size you are, bb, but it turns out that was all LIES. I tried to pinch a few tops for my mother but all the 14-18 tops were gone! Most of the girls were either my size or larger, so I felt better- if it was a skinny convention of near-anorexics, that'd've been really bad for my self-image, lol.
I am hopeful on your behalf!I got so much crap, it's great! I ( ... )

IKR? There but for the grace of god! Phew! Close call...
I actually feel a bit bad about my comment now, because I was just reading the paper with critics flailing over a lingerie company using Jennifer Hawkins to model stuff for them- all about how the company was being hypocritical by supporting 'real' women and then turning around and using a slender sexy woman to promote their stuff. W. T. F. I mean...that's what people do, what, are they supposed to get some ugly fat person to model for them? It's just such a random complaint!
And there was all this stuff about how Jen Hawkins is going to make women feel like crap and think they're hideous and hate their bodies...just, wow. They're blaming her for the insecurity and inferiority complex and body issues of all Australian women, and it's really harsh.
Not that I like her, 'coz I don't, but saying a beautiful woman shouldn't get a job in the beauty industry because she'll make other women feel bad... ( ... )

NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
DON'T GIVE HIM ANY IDEAS!
It's okay, bb! He's too busy trying to convince people he can ~act atm!
After all this time, it still makes me laugh. SUCK IT, LOSER!
I do love how much enjoyment you get out of that. ^_^
at Tribal Council he still carries on like a pork chop about it! PORK CHOP WOO.
Like a pork chop! Hee! But disturbing, because I could totally go for one right now. And I'm getting mixed associations and cannibalistic undertones, so, yeah, aagh!
He's obviously done quite a lot of book learnin', don't you know. :P
I can tell he's very edumacated!
They just spent a bit too long sunning themselves on a rock and the sun fried their brains. Oh wait... I don't think they actually had any to begin with!
AHAHA, BURN. Way to extend the metaphor par excellence. *g*
because she just believes them as well! Why does everybody just believe them? It must be magic.
THAT WAS MY THOUGHT EXACTLY. There's something supernatural going on here. O.o
And I just noticed her top has held up remarkably well ( ... )

He SMILES RIGHT AT HER before he chops her- IDEK! Obviously he realizes it's gonna annoy her because why else with the shit-eating grin, but that the stupidity of his timing doesn't even occur to him, argh!
*gasp*
MAYBE THEY BROKE UP?
OH NO.
Nah, they're still flirting during the challenge!
It's almost like they completely forgot about Stephen! Nobody chops him at all...you'd think someone would throw a chop Stephen's way!
Aww, that sucks, this line of thinking depresses me. Like, he's such a nonentity that nobody notices him? >_< I prefer to think that he's so awesome people didn't want to deny him victory of this challenge! They wanted him to win reward! YES.
I'm also of the opinion that JT isn't smart enough to come up with that, so therefore he probably chopped Erinn because she wasn't originally in Jalapao
*sads* This is probably true.
But your reasoning works so I think it must ( ... )

It looks too pretty and unpolluted, though- if it were a tourist destination, there'd be coke cans and chocolate wrappers lying around, probably. *eyeroll*
It's so awesome! I want to go there. *pouts*
We should go on a Survivor-themed world-wide vacation. :P
Could you imagine how happy you'd be if there was actually a new idol and Erinn snagged it? :P
OMG, if this had happened, I'd be the happiest little Vegemite ever! But sadly, TPDB live to disappoint me. *glares*
There is absolutely no reason for anyone to be on Exile without a new idol being hidden.
IKR? The whole justification for its existence has been removed, so why bother?! *angsts*
Jalapao have taken her in, sheltered her from the storm, taken her under their wing and protected her - Coach and Debbie have just been gunning for her to get voted out, and now they want her back? Puh-leeze.Yeah, I hardly think one Exile trip is enough to tip the odds in their favor! And they haven't done ( ... )

LMAO! This made me laugh a lot!!!!!
Wow! I like Mrs Weasley but reading your comments has given me a whole new perspective on her character which I'm grateful for (thank God for fandom and LJ!). I don't think I'm going to hate her now but you opened my eyes to some things and everything you said is totally right! Of course I don't like Ron so I don't actually feel sorry for his mother giving him a raw deal though. LOL.

Also, yes, sorry to hate on a character you like, but...she's one of those insidiously evil [okay, exaggerating, but I can't think of an appropriate word, so hyperbole it is!] characters that is so warm and friendly on the surface that nobody realizes what is going on beneath that facade. I'm going to quote from this essay I like and which made me think about her in a new light:
The situation at the Burrow is all the more intense in that Molly also home-schooled her brood, and, apparently, kept them from even mixing with the other wizarding kids in their own district ( ... )

But then Rita also publicly calls Molly’s eldest a “long-haired pillock”, leading Molly to try to bully the boy into letting her cut his hair - I’d say that Molly Weasley and Petunia Dursley have more in common than either lady would altogether appreciate having pointed out to them. To me this says that either Molly has long ago switched her brain off altogether and has become an automatic nagging machine, or she was always one of those Gryffindor Old Girls in the fine old Lavender Brown airhead tradition.
I definitely see Petunia and Molly having this in common that they only want things run their way even if its not for the best or they are wrong ( ... )
