'You people. If there isn't a movie about it, it's not worth knowing, is it?'

Comment and I'll give you a list of 4 people. You have to chose which to marry, which to shag, which to snog, and which to throw off a cliff.

Characters provided by the lovely kat_rowe.

Marry- Hermione Granger (Harry Potter)- because she complements me perfectly. We're both witty bookish types, can't you see the magic happening here? :P

Alan Rickman is the best ever.....EVER!!!!!!! I love Sense and Sensibility sooooooo much. It did my "young woman who loves older men" heart good that Marianne ends up with Col. Brandon. When he is reading to her *swoon* I love that damn movie.

And Dogma is the best!!! I love Rufus, the 13th apostle left out of the Bible due to racism. Buddy Jesus.....it slays me. Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, its by far the best thing Kevin Smith has ever done.

I've discovered that there is no age limit to those who capture my affections. I mean, ALAN RICKMAN, for goodness sake, is how old? But I adore him liek whoa. I think he's so handsome and omg, my heart was breaking for him in S&S! I wanted to beat Marianne over the head and knock some sense into her. Why moon over some unattainable scoundrel who didn't care about her enough to fight for her when there's this noble, caring man who adores her? *flails ( ... )

Yes, yes, yes to everything you said. And in Marianne's defense she was only 16 and allowed to be passionate and stupid most of the movie. Not to mention that Willoughby was a major hottie......I would have gone stupid for him as well. I love how in the book everyone assumed because Col. Brandon spent co much time with Elinor that they had a thing. It wasnt often, and still isnt, that male/female friendships are developed that well in fiction if the man is actually straight.

I am finding so many women are into older men.....I used to feel really alone in that. My friends used to make fun of me but there are a lot of us and that feels good.

Hypocrisy and irony make the world go round, unfortunately. Fortunately it also gives me much to laugh about.

*wibbles* No? Really? Miss yoouuu. *squishes*
I know what you mean about limited internet access, I would totally give up my body if I could live online and be with you all 24/7. So would, not even kidding. But I make do with the brief snatches of period our paths cross. *sighs*

PM'ing you now!

Alan Rickman is the man :) Dogma is crude and gross but funny and none of the Alan Rickman (you're right; he's too dignified to just call "Alan" which sounds like your best friend's obnoxious older brother or something) scenes would have needed to be cut from any version that lasted more than 10 minutes, lol. I have this mental image of him doing the Snape air of superiority in that voice of his going "I'll do your little film since you need someone to convincingly be the Voice of God which my legion of fangirls informs me I am supremely suited to, but you will give these lines to other characters." *drops a folder the size of a small phone-book on the negotating table*

that vid? black-clad British dudes ftw :)

*high-fives* Indeed he is. ^_^ *fangirls him like crazy* And okay, thanks for reassuring me that none of his scenes would've been cut, I was fretting about that.

Also? LOL at that scenario of yours- epic win! Firstly, 'the Snape air of superiority' because HELL YES, Snape = superior, 'tis indisputable. And then the commanding image of Alan Rickman effortlessly bulldozing over any opposition to get his way... *daydreams* That would be so awesome to watch in action!

black-clad British dudes ftw :)
WORD.

OOOOooOoOOO I'll do the Christmas card exchange thingie with you, totally! :D I did it last year and it was fun to get cards from some of my flisters. :D

Yes Richard Armitage is Sir Guy of Gisburn (whatever) with his nasty "girly" hair for S3. He is a hottie, but not with that nasty girly hair. *vomits a little in her mouth*

You can hit me if you want with that shag, marry, snog meme thing if you want. I haven't done it in a while.

Meme these:

Myka Bering
Rick Castle
Aeryn Sun
Nikola Tesla

:P

And sweet, I'll pm you my address for the card exchange! I love my internet but it's cool getting cards on rare occasions.

Ha, I knew he looked familiar- for once, I wasn't all anal about it, I kept myself from googling him to check for sure, because once I divert myself, another few hours fly by and nothing's accomplished. *eyeroll* I don't get why guys have such a tough time with their hair, I rarely see a woman with awful hair, it's men that let themselves and the show down. *frowns* Call me sexist, but that's generally the case...

I'll do the meme in a bit. :D Hmmm....

As for Richard, he looks MUCH better in S1 & 2 of BBC Robin Hood.

IKR? As soon as I saw him, I had to throw him off the cliff, it wouldn't surprise me if they ACTUALLY did that to him on CM some day. It would be the least unexpected 'cliff-hanger' ever, lol.

that is so true. And so unfair (says the chick who maintains they didn't do enough with the drug addiction). He's such a doll *pinches his cheeks* Something tells me those writers have a to-do list similar to mine ;p

You know, shows usually beat up on the burly, muscled tough dudes of the show- like Morgan, for instance- I think they target Reid because he evokes all these protective instincts in us, y'know? It's their ploy to make us emotionally invested. *nodnod* Morgan gets injured, I shrug, like, 'Meh, he can deal with it', whereas with Reid, because he's so adorkable, there's all the sympathy and snuggles [from a hefty portion of the female audience anyway]

Lol. I don't think the writers could be anywhere near as wicked and evil as you with their to-do lists. Probably could learn a thing or two about whumpage from you. *bows before the master*

Hmm. That bugs me. I want to amend it to 'mistress' but that doesn't quite have the same impressive ring to it, huh?
