'S one of the big plot threads in 52. It's a "metagene therapy" that can give any ordinary person superpowers, developed & distributed by Lexcorp with much hype and huhu.

Basically, Luthor has managed to synthesize the metagene and is very nearly handing it out like candy. Superpower candy. Superpower candy that Luthor can turn off with the press of a button as soon as he decides he's stopped liking you and that also apparently wear off after about 6 months, but nobody's supposed to know about those last two. Ironically enough for this fic, Booster in 52 describes the whole idea of selling superpowers as "chilling."

So, ummm, yes. "Ooooh, Booster..." pretty much sums it up in a nutshell there. You'd think he'd learn that making deals with supervillians is a bad idea by now...

Why don't you create original characters and original plots and settings and write things? You are a good artist and writer, at very least you could start a webcomic. Seriously. I'll let you live in my basement if you do. ;-)
