So, yesterday was unofficial nostalgia day at Superdickery, I swear. The subjects of Animorphs, Power Rangers, and Digimon all came up. It was like being in elementary school all over again. Fun, though. Nice to know I'm not the only person out there who read Animorphs or watched Digimon and enjoyed them both

I realized the other day that I, too, have a Type. Except it's Underappreciated Bug-Themed Teenage Latino/a Tie-Ins to Existing Superheroes Who Don't Actually Know the Original, And Also Everyone Around Them Has Magic.

And jocks with stars on their shirts. Damn you for killing MVP, Marvel! Damn you!

Also, I can't believe I missed a conversation about Digimon. That's what got me into fandom, man. I got my first girlfriend writing stories for 02. (Sad but true! She's awesome though, so I'm not sorry.)

Is it possible to be a Bug-themed hero and not be a wisecracker? I mean, I can't imagine anybody having a bug theme without having a sense of humor first. They'd go crazy or something.

I like both Babs and Cass, although I prefer Babs as Oracle to Babs as Batgirl. It's just Bruce who irks me.
