Lex liking the normal life? Reads very true to me. There's a part of him that's always wished he was just normal, just average, not this freak or this rich bitch or this Untouchable Person... and even if he's lost the youth or become to jaded to htink he could actually GET that, there would be a part of him, somewhere deep down inside, that would be kind of "YAY!" to actually get that.

I'm still going crazy wanting to know how he's doing it though. LOL.

Can't wait for the next part!

Yay! I'm so happy you're enjoying it. (I'm still a little stunned anyone is reading it.) And I'm really glad you think Lex would like the normal life... I agree that part of him still longs for that. He's accepted now that he can't have that sort of freedom. But if he could change history? Who knows?

Hahahah! I am beginning to understand just how impatient you are...

I needed some help to truly get rid of the angst, but I DID IT! It is possible. See! (my beta, supacat, tricked me into excising it all into another fic which may or may not see the light of day: this tactic worked perfectly and I'm very happy that my light and cheery is back again!)

Awwww I'm so glad it makes you HAPPY! Yay for happy. Also, I was really pleased to be able to have Chloe in the fic too. She totally needs to hold Clark's hand through the trial ahead! ;)
