Well, I'm off to a great start with the film festival, due largely to the queuing. Each year, the queues are probably the most annoying part of the entire process: they stretch whole city blocks for most sessions. It's interesting reading your thoughts on these movies, having chatted a bit with you between the first two :)

Is it bad that with intellectual, thought provoking movies on difficult subjects, the film I now most want to see after reading your review is the animated shorts on dogs?

It was hard to make the dogs sound good! I think it's one of those things where the concept alone either appeals to you or doesn't. :D (Why don't I have a dog icon?!)

damn, I found the movie, and dl it already, but no subtitles, and my french is really not that good, I only understand about onethird!

and he isnt that old!
he could be just my father, not my grandfather!
that would be still totally ok!!!

now if I could only find the subs!
then I watch it and mail him :D
