I love being outside. I love interesting weather. If it's breaktime, and there's interesting weather outside, that's where you'll probably find me.

Fun in the great outdoors. )

companions, people i know, das circus, silliness, boozymatic action

in the suburbs, here, rabbits are quite unafraid of people - they know they're safe, because it's illegal (as well as stupid and nearly impossible) to hunt them among the houses, and the only predators they have to be afraid of are dogs and cats, and maybe the occasional raccoon. there was a large rabbit warren in the undeveloped land next to the house i used to live in, and at dawn and dusk the rabbits would come out and forage on the lawn. every once in a while, one would come almost up to my front door. if i went outside, and tried to approach a rabbit, it would wait until i got within a certain distance, and then leisurely hop away. meanwhile, i had pet rabbits inside the house (they are not only a different species, but a whole different genus, than wild cottontails.) often i'd see deer on the lawn, also - they were much more afraid of people than the rabbits were.

and i also love thunderstorms and lightning (hence my username) ;-)
