There was a time in my life when I thought that the purpose of living was for our dreams. The waking world was just the space in which we garnered sustenance; the important stuff happened while we were asleep. For better or worse I no longer have the philosophical curiosity to consider this possibility anymore.

I do like a good weird dream, however. Much better than anything you can get on TV.
