Thank you for your concern. now if you'd only prod Him into coming to see me, I'd actually feel that people really cared

Is it a question or a statement, that you didn't hear me complaining. Either way, the answer is the same: no, indeed, you did not hear me complaining.

I will live to see another day. will I live to see a repeat performance of our last discussion

Perhaps I do miss someone. Though I don't see what business it is of yours.

You know what they say about people in glass houses, Parkinson. At least I didn't go out of my way to help a Hufflepuff to safety. I wonder how that's going to go down with Them.

I didn't help him itto safety! It was in the road, I simply dragged it aside, so as I wouldn't stumble and kill myself.
Pfft. I would never help a Hufflepuff!!!

Ohhhh. Ok, I must have mistaken dragging someone out of one's way for dragging someone to safety, completely out of the fray. Excuse me for my presumptiousness.

"This is, I'd like to mention, the last time that I attempt to help anyone do anything that isn't directly in my best interests."

Well, at least you learned a valuable and heartwarming lesson from all of this.

I'd hardly call it heartwarming. However, yes, indeed, I've learned my lesson.
