:D! I am having a wonderful morning now, in no small part thanks to this so very cute fic. <3 The dialogue is definitely the best part, but I thoroughly enjoyed all of it.

Oh my goodness, this is one of the most charming things I have ever read. Banter! So much banter! My favorite thing!

However, the line that made me guffaw was "Thankfully, it's open; Ted has learned after an unfortunate accident with Windex and Captain Marvel." LOOOOOOL OH POOR BILLY.

That was my favorite line as well!

Well, I couldn't imagine Superman smashing into a window by accident, with the supervision and all. And Batman has made a living out of sneaking into people's windows and would probably never show his cowl in alleys again if he ever smacked into one. Captain Marvel, though...

I loved that line too!

This fic was adorable! I can't believe it's your first one, I'm absolutely floored - and hoping that you'll go for a cute, banter-filled continuation.

Your characterization was perrrrrrfect, and I loved how Ted spoke in short sentences while he was drunk. It was just too cute. I died.

Thank you; I've always avoided fanfiction by simply claiming that unless I chose background characters, I'd never be able to write them without shaming the writer. But then there were Blue and Gold.

Also, I see you too are located in San Antonio. Yeehaw!

I've never thought of fanfiction in that way really, but then again when I started reading the stuff years ago I sort of related it back to the multiple writers that work on comics. Not to be insulting to anyone, but it's really sort of like paying for fanfiction & fanart. Anyway, I'm so glad you went with Beetle and Booster - I just reread it for the third time, and like I said earlier - your banter is beautiful.

I. Just. Agh. I'm going to say this again too, as selfish as it is - I hope you write more. Okay, enough creepy pushing from a complete stranger, moving on. :3

Whoo SanAn! I'm actually gone for the summer back to my hometown in North Carolina, but I'll be back just in time for August to boil my brain right out of my ears. I've lived in Texas for three years (two years in that humid and miserable desert climate (what) ridden place known as Corpus Christi), and I still can't wrap my head around the heat. I just don't know how.

Oh. Wow. That was off topic. Uh. Haha.

I'lljustbegoingnowkthx. :D

Yeah, the multiple writers of comic books have definitely helped me get over my fanfiction insecurity complex. In that case, even the CANON writers regularly forget, ignore, or retcon, so it's a giant free for all! While if I tried to write, I don't know, Harry Potter or something, I'd be panicking over knowing exactly WHAT Hermione Granger was doing that one week in Year 4 or whatever.

Actually, Stretch Marks and Freckles was the SECOND bunny. <.< The first one, the one I posted my n00b post for, was something completely different. It involves a Say & Spell.

Ah yes, I've been in Texas (though not SanAn) pretty much since I was an infant, so the heat I'm a bit more used to. Then I spent nine months in New Zealand, which completely ruined all those years of camel-training. Imagine my shock when I went biking in the heat for an hour and actually got heat stroke. D: THAT'S NOT SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN!

This was incredible! There's about ten million different aspects I could compliment, but I'm going to go with the way you managed to fit the explanations of the future into the story really well.

Thanks. I have a terrible compulsion to explain everything that doesn't make sense.

Tune in next week as I explain the relationship of Booster Gold and Gladys!

Really?! I hope you're serious, because there needs to be more Gladys!fic.

I confess to having a weak spot for Gladys. I mean, come on. Booster isn't Guy; he doesn't have a head injury to blame. I figure he and Gladys actually like each other but he knew everyone would see it as a publicity stunt, so he plays up to it. Between listening people trash his wife or him, I think he'd take the trashing of his character.

Why no, I don't retcon canon I don't like... really... <.

I think "shiny" is the best description of Booster ever.

I really love this, I love the friendship between the two, the jokes and the wrestling and drunk Ted. And the scene at the end was lovely. Those two needs to get married right now.

In the future, there will be Firefly. Ted and Booster will laugh their asses off over it, and nobody else in the room will ever understand WHY.
