huh. that was really really interesting. In a good way. I've never once read a fic where Willow just ups and leaves everything behind, but now that you've written it, it completely makes sense. Despite never having thought of it before, the notion of Willow's need (because it is a need, not a desire, here, right?) to escape everything in her past. And not even necessarily in a bad way - there's just too much and instead of letting it suffocate her, she chose to leave and start anew.

this worked particularly well through Kennedy's pov. I don't even like her, but I love what you did. Don't think it would have been as cohesive and vivid if it were through Xander or Will's perspective. I guess Kennedy, as a sort of newcomer to the group gives the reader a good narrator-y flow without it being written strictly as such.
