“Oh dear Lord,” said Giles.
He flicked over another page. “The prophecy… we read it all wrong! Buffy’s not meant to kill the lion demon! She’s meant to save him!”
Throwing the book down on the table, Giles spun round and ran inside his recently inherited wardrobe.
Surely they had enough time to stop her, he thought as his feet started to crunch on the snow underfoot.
Without looking around, he became aware that Xander was running alongside him. Breathing heavily, he explained, “We must stop Buffy - Aslan is one of the Powers. And here in Narnia he can die…”
