I think Noel was standing in the middle of Topshop one fine day, and was seized with the uncanny need to buy that pair of polka-dot trousers. When he got home, he discovered that Dee had purchased an identical pair of trousers in a separate Topshop all the way across town. It was a beautiful moment between them, like Jane Eyre and Mr. Rochester calling out to each across the moors, if Jane and Mr. Rochester wore drainpipes and had hair like Chrissie Hynde.
