Poor Dan. :( I have to admit that scene just freaks me out. One minute you're laughing at this horrible situation and then you're like "OMG NO".

Me too, but I have a niggling worry that if there a second series, Dan et. al might not be in it. I have the feeling it'll be Nathan plus a new cast of characters. (Obviously, the only thing Charlie Brooker has talked about is that it would have Nathan's brother in it, so this is just conjecture ...)

That is absolutely true, isn't it? Well, honestly, "Oh, Dan" basically runs constantly through my head every time I watch the show.

And yup ... Dan does need to think about someone else. The guy doesn't know how to treat other people with care, but of course he doesn't know how to treat himself with care, either.

I've only watched that episode once, and I don't think I can bring myself to watch it again.

It's incredibly painful. :/ Of course, everything in the show is building up to that moment, but it's still hard to believe it when he goes through with it.
