U2's next album cover!

This is the cover art for U2's forthcoming album, No Line on the Horizon. It could just as easily have been a Joy Division album cover. I love its stark simplicity. Given how their previous album art has matched every album's sound (in my opinion), this really suggests things about the album's sound... things that I like. :)

Chills! I hope it has that Joy Division edge. The band is in DC now making the rounds. I wish I could run into them, but that would be a pipe dream.

I'm going to do my best to get to as many shows as possible. That may mean only two, but I'm pretty sure DC will be one of them! :D Maybe I'll even have the same good luck with the "seats" as we had! :)

(I'm using the icon with the photo I took with my camera phone that night, heh.)
