[Another month in Luceti and here comes another draft. Close quarters combat to boot. This is something that Selphie's got a bit of experience with but she's not really that tactician type which she will be more than happy to leave to those who are better at that thing.]So, we've got another draft upon us and if it's gonna be in a mine, we're all ( Read more... )

I'm good at stuff, Slayer. [...] Strong, fast, that sort of stuff.

Slayer... I think I've heard that before but I can't quite recall who from. Anywho! Strong and fast is good. Maybe it'd be best if we subdued as many of them as possible.

['Sup, Selphie.]

With the narrow space, I'd probably stick to supportive and status effect spells over offensive ones.

Narrow spaces might give them an advantage as well. A spellcaster would have to be covered constantly but it's doable.

I can throw a good punch, but I'm better with magic. So I'm going to count on the others to cover for me.

I think it should be fine as long as there isn't any earth based magic, it should okay.

You know what I'm capable of.

I'll probably be limiting my magic use this time. While the spells I have are less power then before, it's better safe then sorry.

No Frey, what're you capable of again?

The only other Filial Magic I know will bring the mine down on us all and bury everybody alive so I can provide healing support with Nala but that's about it unless I get a stockpile of magic from home.

I can request rune scrolls if necessary, I'll probably give some to my housemates and others who cannot use healing magic....

Since I returned home, I now have a Fire rune and my Cyclone Rune. The Former is attack magic while the latter has healing spells and attack spells. Both are elemental.

I ....have not gotten in contact with the spirits again, yet.

That'd probably be a good idea.

Man, I wish our magic was that easy to use. No more searching for draw points, no more stocking magic or sharing it with your squad members...

Oh. Well, stick with me then, I know Nala's magic at least.

I know what Frey can do. He's my training partner after all and I was just joking.

Let's hope it doesn't come down to that. I really don't like the notion of a cave-in at all.

I can use a few weapons, heal, teleport and use Hyt's magic to blind them, if it is absolutely necessary. If someone can help me find a Sleep Blade, I'll even have a way to knock groups out easily.

[Sounds like a certain someone is tearing through the shops.]

Check, double check, triple check, check annnnnnnd... that sounds like the kinda blade you don't want running you through.

That'd be the less dangerous option. It's not quite the strongest of swords.

It's still a sword and swords hurt.
