[ There's something in this reaction that's almost like gravity. From the first floor in Seventh Heaven, Allen's head comes up as a handful of notes filter from Cloud Nine. He tenses a little, reflex-gets up, leaving his bowl unfinished, follows the sound upstairs like a minnow on a hook. He stops short only as the piano comes into view and he sees that it's occupied-that he knows the figure at the bench, that this isn't a dream. He's the one awake, for once. It's right; it's all right.

She doesn't seem in a hurry to go anywhere, so Allen holds back-waits until she's hit a lull, of course, before speaking. ]

I didn't know you played.

[She was just about to begin working on chromatic scales when Allen's floated over to her ears. Looking over, she smiles warmly as she waves at him to come over.]

I've only been taking lessons since the summer.

I wouldn't have guessed. [ as directed, he approaches, all smiles and rue. ] They sounded much more complicated.

[Still exploring this new place, Arianthe will eventually hear the music and follow it to its source. She does hesitate at the door; even on her own world, there are some places that would not take kindly to her constant companion entering with her. But when on one (so far) objects to the giant cat at her side, the young elf makes her way in and up the stairs to the source of music.

She's never seen a piano before, and at first, it's odd shape, somewhat like a harp laid on it's side, gives her pause.

Elder, having no care what the instrument it, simply grumbles under his breath, nudging his partner's hand while she watches the girl play.]

[When Arianthe enters the club, she'll find Selphie playing one of the first pieces she learned with confidence. Minuet in F Major by Mozart is a light little dance that won't like please a cat in the least but there's a pleased smile on her face before moving on to play Bourrée in D Minor by Graupner.

She'll stop in a few minutes time to stretch out her fingers when she catches a glimpse of Arianthe and her companion out of the corner of her eye. Looking over, Selphie smiles at the duo.]

Does that mean you're mad they were sent home after seeing them, or just that they were brought here at all, or not?

I'm not mad they were sent home but I was sad to see them go. I just don't want them being brought back here again.

[It's the afternoon rush hour when Selphie swings down to the restaurant section of the building, so forgive him, Sanji's mellorine sensors are put aside until he has a moment to breathe. Eventually though, he'll catch sight of her if she doesn't approach first, greeting her with the usual enthusiasm. Yay lady]

Selphie-chwaaaaan~!! How may I serve you today~?

[Sanji's enthusiasm is gladly returned with Selphie's own as she makes her way to the counter with a bright smile on her face.]

Right away! [It won't take anything but three minutes, tops, and when Sanji returns, he places the festive-colored cup in front of her. Hopes she likes whipped cream - there's plenty to be had]

[Selphie pulls the mug closer as she puts a mouthful of whipped cream into her mouth and grins. Yes, Sanji, there's also whipped cream on her nose in case you need a good natured laugh.]
