Ah, I thought it might be something like that. At least he didn't marry his daughter (although, IMDB is listing her character as the same one as Batgirl, but I guess it's not the most reliable site out there).
Probably because that's how it's listed in the credits. If you look waaaay down the list, you can see "Gordon's daughter". Seriously? Such a prominent character in the comics and she doesn't even get a name? Guh.
You just blew my mind with Harvey = Nathan. But I totally have a Vote Petrelli thingy on my car, and I've been looking for months for the right I Believe in Harvey Dent to accompany it.
I know right? But with the geek writers the show has on staff, I refuse to believe that they weren't make a Two-Face reference when Nathan got all burnified. I kind of want to write something for that now.
One of my flist made up Petrelli-Nakamura '08 bumper stickers, and I really wanted a car just so I could get one.
Nolan's Gotham City works so much better for me than Burton's because, by it being so normal it highlights that Batman is really just a man, and not a power-laden superhero. That being said, the new films were a shock to my system too after watching Burton's Batman movies my entire childhood.

Still doesn't explain why Daddy (apparently) doesn't love her as much, which is just weird.
