Cuz I Can by dualbunny - I absolutely adore all three of her Starbuck character vids, but this one is my very favorite. This vid stands out as flawlessly tracing a progression from S3 Kara 'placing her bets' with cocky assurance, to a darker vision of a Kara that is just kind of grasping at straws and trying to stave off her own inevitable implosion as things fall apart. But without focusing on any emotion or experience exclusively. Which is just brilliant because Kara is all of those complicated things (hilarious, goofy, cocky, sexy, angsty, poignant) all at once. Guh, love it.
Superstar by heresluck - Most amazing Faith vid I've ever seen. Follows the entire arc of Faith's relationship with Buffy and herself, from bravado to vulnerability to betrayal and back again. This vid totally works for "A vid that told you something new about a show/movie you already loved" too because when I first watched it I felt like I finally understood things about Faith that had never clicked for me before.
