Room 512: Monday evening

Jun 04, 2007 19:29

Evie managed to sweet-talk her way into the room by patting the doorknob and telling it how shiny it was; now, she's settled into the window seat, eating biscuits and reading a history book.

There's also a Chinese screen folded up and to the side.

No, this shan't be awkward at all.

[ooc: for the roomie, or anyone else who wishes to stop by!]

512, oh dear

Warren was having more than a bit of trouble getting in.

And the brain explosion/existential crisis he was still dealing with over figuring out that, yes, this was all real, had made him completely forget any other difficulties with the room.

Alas.

"Oh, come on! I don't want to sleep in the hallway! Open up!"

"Ooops." Evie got up, and steeling herself, went to the door, telling the doorknob, "He doesn't really mean it," right before she opened it.

"Welcome to Room 512," she said, suddenly nervous.

Warren blinked at Evie for a long moment. "Oh, right, rooming with a girl--crap! We were supposed to fix that, weren't we!"

"We were," Evie said guiltily. "Only, um. I forgot. And I rather fear it's too late now." She held the door open for him, then pointed anxiously at the screen. "I got a screen! So we don't have to hang a sheet!"
