Apparently I am completely unable to resist a challenge and when I saw this I didn't even try to say no! Anyway, the challenge was to write 100 words for a part of the Arthurian poem "Sir Gawain and The Green Knight". I was assigned five parts, so here's the first part and accompanying drabble. Enjoy!
