'they can't do that, he's yummy'

That was clearly Rose's opinion. She doesn't fancy the Doctor: she fancies David Tennant.

Yes, we definitely need to interrupt things to go and watch the finale.

Or perhaps she struggles to see the different incarnations of the Doctor as essentially the same person? And maybe (if they go through with the regeneration which I hope they don't) River Song recognised the inside of the Doctor rather than the David Tennant 10 version?

I have never tried streaming on the office computer, I'll experiment this week. Hopefully should be fine (broadband, but slow). We'll make them busy and they wont notice we're gone. Or everyone but Jo will want to watch!

Ooh! Good idea about River Song.

I'm fairly sure that there are Chalet School crossovers Jo can amuse herself with. And there are Daleks! They are cultural icons, so really she ought to educate herself about them.

I was so distressed to find out it was a three parter! How can I wait until next week!?

Two, I think...finale next week. Unless last week was the first part of three, IYSWIM...

But this was the second part of last week's...

I didn't realise this was part of last week's, just thought it was a cliffhanger ending of an ordinary episode (but then again I haven't been reading anything about it and watched it on iPlayer).

Terribly exciting, all the same.

Did you never watch Torchwood? It's brilliant....do get hold of DVDs and let yourself go :) And I too was just waiting for the "oh no....!" moment during the long run. I didn't realise there was another episode next week, so when the "...To Be Continued" came up, I nearly collapsed, thinking I'd have to wait a year!!!

Very, very exciting. I think they had Torchwood in the supermarket for about £18 so I might invest if it is good...I'd heard mixed reviews (without knowing much about it at all).

I love your icon.

Hopefully not a proper regen. If so, the BBC have kept it incredibly quiet - the only thing I could find was that DT is still waiting to find out if he's gonna be brought back in 2010, so....!

Rose is an eejit. All that whinging. "I was there first!" indeed. Sorry love, but you weren't. Sarah Jane was there and she was earlier. Twit.

I want to watch SJA myself but I can't because the box set has still not been released AFAIK and the DLs are unlikely to have subs. Bah.

Bah for non-subbed things. Very unfair.

Totally agree with the 'me first' bit too...

He *is* the yummiest doctor...

But if they manage to reverse time and undo a regeneration, I think that might be taking the mickey ... didn't they delete a load of time last series? But then RTD does like reusing his cliches.

(On the other hand, if Moffat *is* going to rip off The Time Traveller's Wife, then I'm less pleased with him than normal.)
