I usually find it quite hard to get to sleep and I wake up early but usually I sleep well while I'm doing it. last night was an extreme of that, I didn't sleep til 4.30am or 5am... and woke at 9am (which is not that early, but as there was no reason for me to wake up, it is early considering when I went to sleep.)
My cold kept me not-quite-awake not-quite-asleep all night :( Normally I fall asleep pretty easily and stay asleep until it's time to get up and struggle to do that.
My sleep at the moment is absolutely rubbish. I often to get disturbed sleep at those times of year when the weather is changing/days are getting shorter/lighter, but my present flat and job have really not been good. I think I'm running a permanent sleep debt at the moment. Aargh!
