I've been with the company I work for, well we could just say a long time but I'll actually tell the truth...15 years. I was an assistant manager for 3 years and have been a manager for 8 years and I've never had this one happen before ( Read more... )

Well - it's not every day you hire someone who ends up in jail, right? That's definitely something that you can put down as one of those weird things that happen in life; and a story you can share with people :-P

It kinda sucks that you'll have to find someone to replace him on short notice, but it's good that he and his brother understand the situation this leaves you in. Besides, it's not like he'll be able to object too much if he's going to be incarcerated for "a while" like you said.

Hope everything works out for all parties involved.

Finding someone at short notice is something I'm used to dealing with, fortunately or unfortunately. Some of the other staff is taking on some of the extra hours and that helps. I have good people working at the store. We will get through it.
