I saw a small five-minute feature on Coraline where Neil Gaiman (*fangirls*) and the cast and director say something nice about the film in between clips. I was disappointed that they decided to buy into the whole 3D craze D:

i'm pretty sure i stole my tune from the actual rat song that's on Gaiman's Coraline website, which i haven't looked at in maybe 3 years.

just, so, you know, it is clear that i did not actually pull this idea of singing rats out of my ass. :))
