Hello, everyone.

It is Christmas, and on Christmas we should have things we love, so here is Hikago fic, one of my favorite things in the world.

  • At least a month ago I started writing a fic to go along with quaedam's beautiful beautiful Akira/Hikaru fanart that she drew for me. And then about six thousand words and two re-writes in I went "fuck it, ( Read more... )

Just... beautiful, I love moments like this, where they are all uncertain and unsure and have to put go stones on the board to communicate. You wrote after someone's comment, i think i should write a sequel where there is mistletoe and kissing and very little else and that would also be nice, but it was lovely and unique that they had the star and moon instead; what beautiful imagery! “I was thinking, I wanna be that star that stands out next to you.“

Thanks for reminding me how much I love them; I think I must watch the series again... or try to find scanlations of the manga!

Thank you!!!! :D What a sweet review. The star and the moon just sort of came to me and I went with it, but mostly I think I was just like, hmm, how can I keep this from being totally sappy and including mistletoe? Oh, I know, I'll have them engage in the totally non-sappy act of stargazing.

Hikaru would totally stargaze, though. He's such a romantic.

If you have trouble locating the manga it's all up on my website at /igocentric. :) Thank you for reading!

What a wonderful holiday treat! I haven't been reading any fanfiction at all really, but when I saw this, it made my heart skip a little. And then the fic did that many more times after. Thanks for sharing this today. *heart*

This is really sweet, the way you have Hikaru and Akira getting together through Christmas parties!

EEEEEEEEEEEE. Oh man, i was really hungry for some excellent Shindou/Touya, and here you are!

This is perfect, Touya's social ineptness and Shindou's equal cluelesness, the way they have to talk in Go with each other, and the way that even that turns into misunderstanding sometimes. It's perfect, thank you so much for sharing it!

You! :D HI YOU, how are you? Any time you drop by and read things it's like, I don't know, surprise snowflakes. I miss your Akira/Hikaru fic, incidentally. I have a trove of yours and Hoyden's and I reread it whenever I'm glum. Thank you so much for reading and letting me know you enjoyed it. It makes me so happy. ♥

    HI. *clings to shared fandom*

aw, that's sweet! I reread Hoyden a lot too, and yours :) I miss writing them as much, but HnG has a lot of staying power and once in a while I write it again for no reason. we'll see what happens, i'm sure i'll do some more shindou/touya sooner or later.
