Oh, SPN. I watched the entire first season from ep one and was going 'oh my god, fandom is going to DIE over this show and incest shipping will never recover' FROM THE BEGINNING. Like, I was pretty much kind of over my SPN buzz and settled into it before it even had a fandom, really, by mid-winter of S1 or so. And the overarching demon plot just made me totally . . . and back away, because I loved the individual episodes so much more. Which is why I haven't seen any of the eps since the first ep of Season 2. Though I do, occasionally, read fanfic. when Shalott writes it. And aboretum. and zionsstarfish.

BUT I GOT SO EXCITED AT THE DVD SET. SO EXCITED. I HAVE TO THANK HER SOMEHOW!

I feel so out of the loop. I didn't have a tv when SPN started. I eventually heard some muttering about it, but WB, EWWWW.

And you can thank me by annoyingly pimping it to anyone and everyone and getting them to watch it on the CW website and buy it from iTunes and stuff.

The demon stuff is total crap. God, I hate the demon stuff. (Hell, I liked the stupid wendigo episode.) But recent episodes of season 2 have been awesome, and some of the angsty revelations aren't bad even if they are tied to the damned demon plot. (Please let it wrap up with the season finale. Please let there be a different plot for season 3. Please let there be a season 3
